Studio Artisan is an exciting project founded by Stuart and Rachel, linked to the Oxford School of Upholstery now in its third decade of teaching both Modern and Traditional Upholstery in the UK.

Studio Artisan brings the opportunity of learning the traditional skills of upholstery in the tranquil environment of a pretty Charentaise village. Take the opportunity to slow down and take a breath, while creating that special chair to cherish for generations to come.

It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner, all are welcome, with over twenty years of experience Stuart will guide and support you through learning about the tools and techniques of upholstery to transform your project and create something you can be proud of.
